Niles Paul

Paul may very well be gone from your waiver wire by now, but if he isn’t, make it happen. This guy is Kirk Cousins’ best option at TE and a very good pass catcher for Washington. Much like Jordan Reed of last year, Paul has an opportunity to become a lasting piece in this Redskin offense. He has shown that off through three weeks, catching 18 passes.

Pick Paul up and start him with confidence until proven that that is unwise.

Owen Daniels

With the loss of Dennis Pitta for the season comes an opportunity for veteran Owen Daniels to shine. He already gave us a glimpse of the fantasy relevance he now has last week, where he caught TWO touchdowns.

The Ravens are rolling right now, and Daniels will continue to be apart of this hobbled yet effective Baltimore attack. If you are weak at TE, swoop in and pick this guy up immediately.

Matt Asiata

Asiata has performed admirably in the wake of the loss of Adrian Peterson, and his success should continue as long as AP is banned. Asiata has been getting the touches he needs to be a weapon, and even cashed in on a TD last week vs. New England.

He didn’t find the endzone vs. New Orleans, but neither did anyone on his team, so excuse that. Asiata is a good flex play in deep leagues and worth a bench stash in shallower leagues, in case this guy breaks out all the sudden.

Mohamed Sanu

No, I am not saying add him because of his touchdown pass to Andy Dalton. But that kind of plays a part in it.

Sanu is now a versatile part of this offense, catching passes, throwing passes, etc. Despite the return of Marvin Jones, Sanu has proven he belongs as part of this Cincy offense. He is definitely worth a pickup in deeper leagues because of his big play potential.

Plus, who doesn’t want this kind of playmaker on their team?

Miles Austin

Austin is the surprising pick here. Most assumed Austin would have a measly year in Cleveland, but he is proving otherwise. The lack of Josh Gordon makes Austin the number one in Cleveland, and he is capitalizing, scoring touchdowns in week two and three.

He may not be worth a start just yet, but if the chemistry between him and Brian Hoyer heat up, look out for Austin to have quite the throwback year.
