NFL Week 10 Predictions
Last Week: 8-5
This Season: 64-24
Bills Vs. Jets (TNF)
Rex Ryan and the (4-4) Bills head to Metlife Stadium to face the (5-3) Jets. The Jets snapped their 2 game losing streak with a win against the Jags last week. The Bills also snapped a losing streak by beating the Dolphins. Rex Ryan is coming back to face the Jets for the first time and he will have the Bills fired up to play. However, the Jets will be just as fired up and will win at home in a close matchup.
Jets 24 – 21 Bills
Lions Vs. Packers
The (1-6) Lions have been a disaster all year. Matthew Stafford has been benched mid-game, they have fired their offensive coordinator, and chaos is swirling, but it seems to not matter. Meanwhile, the (6-2) Packers have lost two straight games. I thought they would only lose two games all year, so they need to get on a big win streak. That win streak will start on Sunday with an easy win.
Packers 31 – 13 Lions
Cowboys Vs. Buccaneers
The (2-6) Cowboys have lost 6 straight games. The (3-5) Buccaneers are coming off a close loss to the Giants. The Bucs have shown signs of life this year, and are looking like they will become a powerhouse in the near future. The Cowboys should get Tony Romo back next week, but it might be too late to save the season, as they will lose their seventh straight game.
Buccaneers 24 – 20 Cowboys
Panthers Vs. Titans
The (8-0) Panthers and the (2-6) Titans are both coming off their most impressive wins of the season. The Titans have a new coach and looked inspired to play for him last week in New Orleans. Now they head home, but have an even tougher task as the undefeated Panthers come to town. Cam Newton will do just enough to keep the Panthers undefeated for one more week.
Panthers 24 – 17 Titans
Bears Vs. Rams
The Bears (3-5) have actually looked decent at times during the year. They beat San Diego on Monday Night and Jay Cutler looked comfortable in the offense. Now, they must face one of the toughest defenses, the (4-4) St. Louis Rams. The Rams lost a heartbreaker to the Vikings last week. They will bounce back and beat the Bears at home.
Rams 27 – 20 Bears
Saints Vs. Redskins
The (4-5) Saints head to the nation’s capital to face the (3-5) Redskins. The Redskins currently sit a game and a half out of first place in the NFC East. The Saints have to get hot if they want a shot at a wild card spot. The Titans exposed the Saints defense, and I believe Washington will do the same on Sunday. Drew Brees will have another big game, but it will not be enough.
Redskins 31 – 30 Saints
Dolphins Vs. Eagles
The (3-5) Dolphins fly north to face the (4-4) Eagles in the City of Brotherly Love. The Eagles have a lot of momentum after walking off against the Cowboys on Sunday night. They can control first place by the end of the day with a win and a Giants loss. The Dolphins are showing bad habits again after getting back to .500. The Eagles are rolling and they will get their 5th win on Sunday.
Eagles 27 – 17 Dolphins
Browns Vs. Steelers
The (2-7) Browns are the laughing stock of the NFL right now. Mike Pettine needs to give Johnny Manziel the starting position to see what he can do. Their season is over and playing Josh McCown the rest of the year does not help the future. Meanwhile, the (5-4) Steelers are once again without Big Ben. Even without Ben, the Steelers should have no problem winning this game at home and improve to 6-4.
Steelers 27 – 14 Browns
Jaguars Vs. Ravens
The (2-6) Jaguars are only a game and a half out of first place in the AFC South. The (2-6) Ravens are in the middle of their worst season in over a decade. The Jaguars have failed to show improvement even with countless high draft picks over the last 5 years. They will lose yet another game this year as Joe Flacco shows some of the form he had last year with a solid game.
Ravens 24 – 13 Jaguars
Vikings Vs. Raiders
The (6-2) Vikings have won 6 out of their last 7 games. They are currently tied for first place in the NFC North with the Packers. They have to travel to the West Coast to play the (4-4) Raiders. The Raiders are finally putting a good product on the field. This game could go either way, but I believe Derek Carr and Amari Cooper will combine for two more touchdowns as the Raiders will win this tight game.
Raiders 27 – 24 Vikings
Patriots Vs. Giants
Tom Brady leads the (8-0) Patriots into Metlife Stadium to face the (5-4) New York Giants. The Giants have given Tom Brady more trouble than any other team during his career. Brady knows this is one of the biggest hurdles remaining if he wants to get the illustrious undefeated season. Unfortunately for Tom, the Giants will come out of the gates flying, match every punch thrown by the Patriots, and win the game with a late field goal.
Giants 30 – 27 Patriots
Chiefs Vs. Broncos
The (7-1) Broncos return home to face the (3-5) Chiefs. The Chiefs have returned to playing good football and actually have a chance to make a run at a wild card spot. The Broncos need to respond after a poor showing in Indianapolis last week. If they lose again, they will fall two games behind the Bengals and the Patriots, which will severely hurt their chances of getting home field in the playoffs. However, Peyton Manning will have a bounce back game and the Broncos will win at home.
Broncos 27 – 20 Chiefs
Cardinals Vs. Seahawks (SNF)
The (6-2) Cardinals head to the Pacific Northwest to face the (4-4) Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are currently on a two game win streak, and know a win will only put them a game behind the Cardinals for first place in the NFC West. The Cardinals know a win will put them 3 games up on the Seahawks with only 7 games left to play. Since the game is in Seattle, the Seahawks will rally behind the 12th Man, and win the game.
Seahawks 24 – 20 Cardinals
Texans Vs. Bengals (MNF)
The (3-5) Houston Texans head north to face the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals. The Texans are only a half game behind the Colts in the AFC South, and with Luck out at least a month, the Texans have a great chance to take over first place. However, Andy Dalton and the Bengals’ offense should have no problem torching the Texans’ secondary. The Bengals will improve to 9-0 heading into a big showdown against the Cardinals.
