International Sports Hub: How To Support Victims Of Paris Attack & City Of Paris
There are so many things that matter more than sports.
That’s why here at International Sports Hub, we would like to take a minute to process the attacks on the City of Paris on Friday, November 13th, 2015. The tragedy saw over 120 killed and hundreds more wounded in coordinated attacks by the Islamic State, or ISIS.
This was the bloodiest day on French soil since the days of World War II and just 11 months after the shooting at Charlie Hebdo’s office in Paris, a satirical magazine, that left 11 people killed and 11 others wounded.
ISH is not a political site, and we would like to keep our personal views out of this. All we can do is acknowledge the tragedy, and pray for the victims of these horrible attacks.
We have decided to change our home page logo to the colors of the French national flag to show support.
We have also changed our Facebook profile picture to show support as well.
Below are links for you to go to if you want to do your part to support the victims. ISH has no affilation with these organizations, but we feel, as a publication, it is our duty to attempt to do something to help. Please feel free to donate through the organizations listed below.
Donate to Doctors without Borders here.
Donate to the French Red Cross here.
Donate to Restaurants du Cœur, which provides food to those in need, here.
Donate to the international Red Cross here.
These are just a few ways you can show your support to the people of Paris in this time of mourning.
Pray for Paris.
